Lt. Col. (Rtd.) MD. Monwarul Islam, afwc, psc,Pengg,FIEB: Resident Director, Palmal Group. Mr. Monwar is a Masters in Civil Engineering, Defence Studies and an MBA.

• Varied and rich professional experience of over 25 years in the field of instructions / training, command & leadership, development work, civil engineering (contractual procedure, design, supervision & monitoring engineering works), project management, administration, logistic, security, disaster management, bomb disposal and de-mining in Asia, Europe and Africa.

• Completed 7 courses under UN and ICRC in the fields of personnel management, equipment, logistics, conflict resolution, security, mine action etc.

• Guest Instructor Class A (In the capacity of Associate professor) at Military Institute of Science and Technology.

• Apart from the above Mr. Monwar is working as guest lecturer in many private universities and also involved as part time trainer and consultant.

Course Outline
This course covers the following areas: Introduction to organizational Behavior; Foundation of organizational Behavior; Perception of individual decision making; Values , attitude and job satisfaction; Power and politics; Conflict in organization; Motivation; Foundation of group Behavior; Understanding team work; Basic approach and contemporary issues in leadership; Understanding interpersonal communication in organization; Understanding organizational culture diversity; Stress and work life balance; Human resource policies and practices.

Course Objectives The course aims at teaching the basic principles and application of organizational behavior. On successful completion of the course students will be able to investigate the impact that individual, groups and structure on behavior with an organization. Student will learn theories and techniques, which they will be able to apply in their work life to make their organization work more effectively and efficiently. This course will enable them to master little skill, which will help them to improve productivity, reduce absenteeism, turnover and increase employee citizenship and job satisfaction in their career. It prepares the students for facing and managing organizational challenges in this millennium. It certainly would provide students a competitive edge in this fast growing business world.
